In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Bulldog Marching Band, the Fresno State Band Alumni Club is hosting a special reunion celebration for BMB alumni, family members, friends, and supporters on Friday, September 25th. The event will bring the BMB community together to reconnect, share memories, and celebrate a century of Bulldog spirit, music, and tradition.
The BMB Through the Years on Saturday, September 26th will bring Bulldog Marching Band alumni back to the field alongside the current BMB for a special centennial performance. Alumni musicians, color guard members, and on-field participants without instruments are invited to take part. The performance will highlight music and traditions from throughout the band’s 100-year history.
Homecoming is October 10th against Boise State. The same Homecoming Alumni Band that you know and love is planned. Registration and event information will be available around mid-September. Additionally, on October 9th, the Fresno State Band Alumni Club is hosting an “Alumni Bulldog Beat.”

Volunteers will be needed to help with several aspects of the BMB100 celebration, including event preparation, registration, guest assistance, performance logistics, and other activities. If you are interested in volunteering, please either sign up for one of our events and indicate you are interested in volunteering, or contact Alexis Holladay at aholladay@csufresno.edu. Additional information will be provided as volunteer needs are finalized.
Donations help the Fresno State Band Alumni Club support alumni activities, student musicians, special events, and the preservation of BMB traditions. Contributions may be made online here. The Centennial Reunion Event will be held on Friday, September 25th at the Satellite Student Union at Fresno State. Doors open at 5:30pm and the event will conclude around 8:00pm.

Registration for the Centennial Reunion Event costs $20 (special early bird pricing) and includes a buffet Italian dinner and water.
Absolutely! This will be a family-friendly event and we encourage you to bring members of your family. All guests, including children, must have a ticket. Tickets are $20 per guest; children under age 3 are free but still require a ticket. All tickets may be purchased together through the registration link.
Seating is first come, first served. However, those who purchase a table of 8 will have their seats reserved.
A buffet Italian dinner will be served, including salad, bread, penne pasta with marinara, pasta with chicken, meatballs, sausages, dessert and water. Please indicate any dietary restrictions when registering, and we will do our best to accommodate them. A no-host cash bar will sell soft drinks, wine and beer.
This will be a casual event. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing or show their Bulldog spirit with Fresno State or BMB apparel.

Monetary sponsorships include business visibility benefits, while in-kind donations may include products, services, gift baskets, or other items for the silent auction and raffle. Fresno State alumni and any former members of the Bulldog Marching Band (or whatever it may have been called in your time as a member) are eligible to participate. We kindly ask that friends, family, and partners that are not former marching band members of Fresno State not register to participate and instead enjoy the game and halftime show by buying a ticket to the game.
You may participate on the field without an instrument by selecting “Non-Performing Participant (No Instrument/Equipment)” when registering.
A limited number of non-performing participant spots are available for those who want to participate in the halftime show celebrating our 100 year legacy but may not be able to perform with an instrument or equipment anymore.
Music selections will consist of Fresno State classic and BMB staples through the years! Sheet music and mp3s of wind parts will be distributed digitally sometime around September 14 to those who registered. Memorization is not required! Color guard will receive a link to a choreography video. Feature twirlers are encouraged to arrange their own choreography.
Participants are required to wear the official Fresno State Band Alumni polo shirt that was first made available during the 2025 Homecoming Alumni Band. If you do not already own this polo or need a new one, the option to purchase is available when you register.
A rehearsal on the Fresno State campus with the Bulldog Marching Band prior to kickoff will be held sometime in the late morning/early afternoon (exact schedule to come). Major logistical information and valuable performance information will be given at this rehearsal.

Those needing accommodation or assistance in order to participate are encouraged to indicate so on their registration form. It is our goal to work with those individuals personally to identify what we can do to help within the infrastructure on campus and at the stadium.
All wind and battery percussion players are encouraged to provide their own instrument. A limited number of sousaphones are currently available, and we are actively seeking a solution for battery percussion, mellophone, and marching baritone players. While we cannot guarantee these instruments, you may indicate on your registration form wanting to hear if they become available. Mallet and synth players will share a keyboard instrument with a BMB member. Guitarists must bring their own instrument and accessories—amplification can be routed through the front ensemble. Color guard performers will be provided a flag and pole. Feature twirlers must provide their own batons. (No flammable materials are allowed.)
A limited number of sousaphones are currently available, and we are actively seeking a solution for battery percussion, mellophone, and marching baritone players. While we cannot guarantee these instruments, you may indicate on your registration form wanting to hear if they become available.
Instrument cases and personal belongings are your responsibility. The band room in the music building may be used for storage, but will not be locked and will not be actively supervised during the football game.
Fresno State, the Band Alumni Club, and the Bulldog Marching Band are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged instruments or belongings.
No, a football game ticket is not included in registration and participants do not need to purchase one as they will be considered band members for the day.
Guests can purchase tickets through Fresno State Athletics.
Participants will sit behind the Bulldog Marching Band. Only registered participants may sit behind the BMB. Participants may sit with their guests in a ticketed seat that they have paid for as long as they make all call times.
The band will perform to the west stands at halftime.
The football game time will not change.
When arriving on campus for check-in and rehearsal, you may park in any green or yellow lot beginning with a “P” (ex: P1). If a parking employee is already on campus, let them know you are part of the marching band and you should be waived on through. If you leave and return to campus between rehearsal and the football game, you may need to do the same thing. This generally will only work in P1, P30, and P31. If you are parking anywhere else, you may be subject to whatever the parking fee is. For an expanded map of game day parking, click here.
No transportation will be provided for participants. Large instruments (battery percussion, sousaphones, and those needing accommodations) will be transported to a lot near the stadium after rehearsal. You are responsible for dropping off and picking up your instrument. Only rental instruments will be allowed on the truck after the football game. You are responsible for your personal instrument after the game.
While we do not have an official hotel block with discounted rates, there are plenty of hospitable accommodations near campus including, but not limited to: Hyatt House, Holiday Inn Express, Townplace Suites, and Hilton Garden Inn.

No outside food or beverage is permitted in Valley Children’s Stadium. Water jugs and cups will be provided in the stands.

Any belongings you have brought with you to the stadium that cannot go on your person will be left in the stands. We are working on identifying volunteers to help monitor items left behind during the performance.
